Police ask for help from the public to find purse stolen from elderly woman in Spalding shop




An elderly woman had a purse containing around £600 stolen while inside a shop in Spalding on Saturday.

The woman was shopping in Card Factory, in Hall Place, where the purse was thought to have been taken out of her handbag just after 12.20pm.

After leaving the card shop, the woman walked to Simpson's Butchers next door.

The purse is distinctive as it has a police bell on it.

Police are asking anyone with CCTV in the area to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 192 of November 24.
