Spalding town centre is scene of emergency response after man falls




A man has been taken to hospital after a fall in Spalding town centre today where firefighters were on hand to help out.

Paramedics were also called to Hall Place to what an East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman described as a "medical emergency" just after 3pm.

The man was eventually taken to Peterborough City Hospital by ambulance.

A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Our team assisted with an ambulance crew who were attending to a gentleman who had fallen."
