Unconfirmed reports say that officers had been searching for a wanted person around the Low Fulney Bridge area yesterday afternoon.

A South Holland Police spokesman issued an appeal which said: “Have you seen Morgan Smith who has absconded from Hollesley Bay prison in Suffolk? We believe he has been sighted in the Spalding area of Lincolnshire and would ask anyone who sees him to call 101 immediately. Always call 999 in an emergency.”

Suffolk Police say he has been missing since May 11.

He is described as of a slim build, six foot three inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes and has a goatee beard and maybe wearing a light blue coat.
