Young Dons Football Club enjoy successful family fun in the sun




Young Dons’ family fun event was a scorcher enjoyed by many over the weekend.

Located in Donington, the club had a very successful day in the sunshine on Saturday, with lots of money raised.

Vicky Morris, secretary of The Young Dons Football Club, said: “It went really well, we had over 300 children playing football – they were all happy and smiling.”

The Young Dons won the U14s competition and the U12s won their debut match.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of stalls, a bouncy castle, barbecue, penalty shoot out games, tombola and more.

Vicky added: “The annual event just gets bigger each year, It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year and we will continue to do it.”
