Weston Craft Centre opens




More visitors are enjoying browsing around a revamped craft centre.

A total of 15 artists are showing their work within the centre at Baytree Nurseries in Weston.

The former gallery, which is close to the restaurant and antique centre, has been given a makeover in recent weeks.

One of the people behind the project is Ann-Marie Carter, who is delighted with the new look.

She said: "It has become a more exciting place as there is more to look at.

"We have had more sales through and we are getting more footfall."

Along with the traditional offering of paintings, the new craft centre is now home to a digital artist.

There is also also a multi-media artist along with paper craft and a wide mixture of other crafts for visitors to enjoy browsing around.

The team also hopes to do portraits after Christmas.
