Spalding Gentlemen’s Society hosted exhibition on ‘Stonehenge investigator’ William Stukeley

An exhibition which celebrated a South Holland native - who is a forefather of archaeology - proved to be popular.

Spalding Gentlemen’s Society celebrated one of its early members, William Stukeley, by putting on a display of some of his drawings and sharing information about his life.

The Adventures of Stukeley was organised as part of the Heritage Open Day events which have been running across the country.
