Sutterton Farm’s Pick Your Own Pumpkins was a big success




Visitors had fun at at pick your own pumpkin event.

After returning for its third year, Sutterton Farm introduced some new quirky activities and varieties of gourds which have caught the attention of many people.

Owner Annice Firth said: “It was such a busy weekend, the weather didn’t stop people turning up so it was fantastic really.

“We had a lot of new customers and the pink pumpkins have been very popular – many visitors have come up to us saying they have come for the pink ones which is brilliant.”

The Pick Your Own event offers a wide range of pumpkins, vegetables and activities for adults and children to get stuck into, some of which include a ceramic craft area, pedal tractor, mud kitchen, interactive piano and much more.

Annice said: “The baby sensory corner has been fantastic – it went down an absolute hit and we have had no end of families telling us how nice it is. It is definitely something we are going to continue.”

Visitors can join in with the seasonal fun on Saturday, from 10am. The patch is open until Sunday, October 29.
