Little Miracles plan to convert former Holbeach shop into family centre is approved

A charity has been given the green light to create a family centre in a former shop.

Little Miracles wants to create drop in support and play/family centre for disabled children/young people with additional needs and disabilities in Church Street, Holbeach.

Planners at South Holland District Council have approved the change of use application for the former shop.

The decision notice states: "Use of the building for a community use as opposed to retail would not significantly harm the viability and vitality of the town centre. Rather, it would make it more diverse.

"The community benefits of the proposed use therefore outweigh the loss of a retail facility in this case."
