Quadring church family history day was a success
Visitors to a South Holland church were able to build up more information on their family trees.
St Mary’s Church in Quadring hosted a family history day on Sunday, which was well attended.
People were able to trawl through the original church records of marriages and baptisms which took place between 1826 and 1946. The records were on display from Lincolnshire Archives.
A treasure hunt around the church was also held, and there were guided tours too.
Ruth Baldwin entertained visitors with an organ recital, and Lincolnshire Bat Society gave a demonstration.
The event was organised by Kay Woods, Elizabeth Stott and a group of helpers. Pictured are Kay and Elizabeth.
