Famous Holbeach Laddies shop will be serving last scoop

A popular town shop will be 'serving its last scoop' later this month.

Laddies Ices in Church Street, Holbeach, has been a favourite in the town for many years with its delicious flavours but it has announced its closure on January 31.

Owner Richard Ladbrook has made the decision after wanting to embark on a well-earned retirement and the shop that the ice-cream seller is based within will also close.

A social media post stated: "As of 31st January 2023, Laddies will be closing its door for the very last time.

"The shop will be operating normally and will still be selling sweets, newspapers & cigarettes etc but we will be reducing our opening times to 7am to 5pm until the closing date of 31st January.

"Newspaper customers will be contacted separately in regards to their ongoing deliveries.

"We would like to thank all our customers, past and present, for all your support over the years. We will miss you all."
