Summer events planned at Vine House Farm in Deeping St Nicholas




Get the chance to meet alpacas, listen to tales of wildlife and nature and take a ride on a tractor, at a series of events over the summer.

Vine House Farm in Deeping St Nicholas, will has a range of summer events for visitors to get stuck in to, including a Meet The Fenland Alpacas, on Tuesday, July 30 between 10am and 2pm.

If you want to get crafty, why not have a go at making an alpaca wool dispenser for birds nesting in your garden at £5 per person? Enjoy coffee and cake, lunch in the cafe, or an ice-cream from the sunflower cabin and don’t forget to explore the wildlife garden.

The site will also be hosting a meet the storyteller event on Wednesday, July 24. Children and families will be able to hear stories of nature and wildlife from Mark Fraser in the Wildlife Garden.

Each session will be 40 minutes to an hour long and will take place at 9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm – it will cost £5 per child and booking is essential.

A farm tour with sunflowers will be held on Saturday, August 3, Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11 – booking is required.

You can also sign up for one of the summer tractor and trailer rides around the farm on Monday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 28 from 10.30am. It will cost £3 for adults and children over three years old. To book a space call 01775 630244.
