A feast for the senses was on offer at an 18th century pleasure garden revival over the weekend.
Staff and friends of Ayscoughfee Hall and Gardens in Spalding had spent more than a year putting together a wonderful show to celebrate the historic building’s past.
A fire display, performance by flower nymphs in the Rose Garden along with a grotto to remember the Fens legend of Tiddy Mun were some of the attractions at the Bridgerton and Vanity Fair inspired event, which put on four shows over the weekend.
Music was provided by the Rose Quartet and a Mirnesse choir at the Ayscoughfee Enlightenment.
