Mr Woods said: “I have sung in Pinchbeck before but never in my full concert and it's just a wonderful feeling to look out into the audience and see neighbours, friends and familiar faces as well as other locals.

“Next August we will have been in Pinchbeck for 10 years and they've been very special, not only in the professional sense but because of the warm welcome we've received and the wonderful Community in the village.

“I've performed all over the world, including many parts of our country and had some fabulous experiences, including on cruise ships in theatres, television and radio.

“This is the chance for me to show Pinchbeck a little bit more of what I can do.

“Pinchbeck is a special place and I hope to make it a special evening.

“The concert will also take place during the church's flower festival and it's a privilege to be asked to be part of that.”

The fundraising event on Saturday, May 4 starts at 7pm and will raise money for Hope For Tomorrow, a charity that brings mobile cancer care units to patients.

It promises to present an evening of fun, laughter and fabulous singing.
