Festive carol service set to take place around Trinity Bridge in Crowland

An annual tradition is set to return to Crowland on Christmas Eve, with organisers hoping the event continues to grow in popularity.

There will be a carol singing event held under Trinity Bridge in Crowland on Sunday, December 24, at 5.30pm.

Organiser Michael Goodman said: “We started the event years ago now and around half a dozen attended. Last year we had over 100 people gathered under the bridge.

“It is basically the start of most people’s Christmas and every year it has grown and grown – so much so. There is not enough room under the bridge for everyone. It has become a tradition and anyone and everyone is welcome to join in.”
