Festive date planned for popular new Holbeach Indoor Farmers Market
Stalls filled with delectable delicacies are the main focus of an already popular new event.
The new monthly farmers market in Holbeach began at the start of the month, with about 40 stalls on offer.
The Holbeach Indoor Farmers Market is taking place each month at the town’s Hub Sports Hall on Boston Road South.
The fully-booked line-up this month saw hundreds of people take in the impressive showcase of local artisan foods and drinks, plus a variety of homemade crafts.
Highlights included traditional and vegan pies, delicious homemade Indian food, local ciders, honey, coffee, preserves, fresh Grimsby fish and wholesome local vegetables.
Craft stalls included handmade candles, embroidery, homemade artwork and gifts.
Organiser Neil English said: “Holbeach Indoor Farmers Market supports many local businesses by allowing them to sell directly to the public with no middleman.
“Hundreds of visitors attended and the stallholders were really busy.
“The response was amazing - we are fortunate to have so many fantastic small businesses on our doorstep, and a very supportive community.”
The festive-themed December Holbeach Indoor Farmers Market will take place on Sunday, December 4 from 10am-2pm.
