South Holland District Council outline where Spalding Flower Parade visitors can go to spend a penny




With a set of town centre toilets closed for refurbishment, council bosses have outlined where else people can go to spend a penny on parade day.

The Sheep Market toilets in Spalding, which have been shut for some time, while while South Holland District Council undertakes renovation work to create modern and accessible Changing Places facilities.

Coun Henry Bingham, portfolio holder for assets and strategic planning, said: "Public toilets on Vine Street and Winfrey Avenue will be open, which are near the parade route, as well as toilets at Castle Sports, where the event will mostly be taking place.

"The event organisers are providing toilets of their own for the event, and have advertised a route map on the Flower Parade website and Facebook page, which may help those attending to identify the various areas where they can access toilets."
