South Holland Business Awards celebrates innovation and success




Excellence in entrepreneurship, innovation and customer service were celebrated at the South Holland Business Awards.

More than 250 people from businesses across the area gathered at Springfields Events and Conference Centre in Spalding for the annual celebration which was organised by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.

Baytree Garden Centre’s founder Reinhard Biehler and David Norton, who had organised the Spalding Flower Parade for many years, were among the big winners of last night (Thursday, November 15) event.

Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive of the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce: said: “South Holland is brimming with talent and exceptional service, and these awards are a chance to highlight and celebrate the outstanding work being done here. We are proud to offer a platform for businesses to showcase their achievements and success.”

The evening kicked off with a drinks reception, followed by a delicious three-course dinner, live entertainment before the awards presentation.

Richard Askam, TED Talk speaker and creator of the ‘Share a Coke’ campaign, hosted the event.
