Donington fire caused by electrical fault in welder

Firefighters tackled a small blaze in Donington this morning (Friday).

Crews from Donington, Billingborough and Spalding were called to reports of a fire in an outbuilding on Ing Drove at 10.43am.

On arrival, crews found a small fire in an electric motor of a welder. They extinguished the blaze, which was caused by an electrical fault.
