Straw and grassland fire

Firefighters from Spalding and Crowland attended a blaze in the open on Sheppards Drove near Crowland at 1.38pm this afternoon (Thursday).

Severe damage was caused to 100m of waste straw and grassland. The fire was extinguished using two hose reels, four beaters and one thermal imaging camera.
