Firefighters from Kirton and Donington attend bus blaze on A16 at Surfleet

Firefighters have been called to a bus blaze.

Crews from Kirton and Donington attended the scene in Surfleet at 2.53pm this afternoon.

“Crews from Kirton Fire Station and Donington Fire Station attended reports of a bus on fire on the A16 near Surfleet,” Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue confirmed.

“This was light fire damage to one oil pipe in the engine compartment.

“(It was) extinguished using one hose reel.”
