Alarm was caused by faulty detector

A crew of Spalding firefighters attended a false alarm in the town in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

The alarms went off at 3.27am in Bowditch Road because of a faulty detector.

The crew removed the faulty detector, replaced it with a new one and reminded the occupants to test their smoke detectors.
