Sutton St James bungalow fire

Firefighters attended a kitchen fire yesterday (Friday) evening.

Crews from Holbeach and Spalding attended reports of a bungalow blaze in Sutton St James at 6.12pm.

There was fire damage to the oven and a kitchen cupboard and light smoke damage to the kitchen.

Crews used a dry powder extinguisher and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the blaze, and then ventilated the property.
