Person rescued from under vehicle

Firefighters released a person who was trapped underneath a vehicle in Kirton yesterday lunchtime (Sunday).

Crew from the Kirton station was called to the Hardwick estate at 12.31, following reports of someone trapped.

They used man power, plus blocks and chocks, to raise and stabilise the vehicle before paramedics could treat the victim.
