Spalding, Donington, Long Sutton, Baston, Newark, Pinchbeck, Peterborough firework events that will be lighting up the skies with a bang on Guy Fawkes night
With Guy Fawkes night coming up soon there are a variety of bonfire events and fireworks displays to visit.
Here are some of the area’s highlights with a selection of events that will be lighting up the night sky around this area.
Crowland – The skies will light up in Crowland on Saturday Night for their Fireworks night from 4.30pm.
It will be held on the Crowland and Snowden Field, where the beacon will be lit at 7.30pm, followed by a display of fireworks.
A variety of vendors and stalls will be there to browse through from 5pm along with hot food such as pizzas, burgers, jacket potatoes and more.
The night will also include a variety of entertainment such as a bouncy castle, fairground rides and a swing boat ride.
It will cost £2 upon entry and make sure to park your car before 7pm.
Long Sutton – The annual fireworks event will take place on Saturday, November 4, at the Parkside Club in Long Sutton.
Fireworks will be set off at 7.30pm, tickets are £2.
Sutton Bridge – A sparkly night is set for visitors who attend the Sutton Bridge free fireworks display at the weekend.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 5 at the Memorial Park.
It will be open from 4.30pm with the display starting at 7pm. A variety of hot and cold food will be on offer, as well as a disco, funfair attractions and a separate safety area for children’s sparklers.
All of the money raised from the event will be going towards the children’s play equipment.
Pinchbeck – Pinchbeck United will hold their third annual display at Glebe Field, Knight Street on Friday, November 3 – and organisers are planning for proceedings to go off with a bang.
Gates open at 6pm and the display starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £4 for adults and £1 for under 16s and they are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/pinchbeck-united-fc or on the gate.
Fleet – The Lawns and Lakes Camping and Caravanning site in Fleet will also be hosting a weekend extravaganza.
A special Bonfire Weekend will begin with a fish and chip supper in the barn tomorrow (Friday November 3). On Saturday there will be a lighting of the bonfire at 7pm with free burgers, hot dogs and soup available.
The fireworks display will be later in the evening. It will cost £10.50 for adults and £5 for children.

Donington - The village’s annual firework extravaganza will be held on the Community Centre Field on Friday, November 2.
Tickets cost £7 for adults. Gates open at 5pm with the display beginning at 7pm.
Baston – With an Abba-themed evening display, the 15th Baston Firework Extravaganza is set to take place on Sunday, November 5, at Brudenell Playing Fields.
From 3pm funfair, 4pm food court, 5.30pm kids’ display and main fireworks at 7pm.
Cash-only tickets available at the village shop.
Wyberton - The Boston United fireworks display takes place on Friday, November 3.
Doors open at 6pm with live music before the display at 8pm.
Tickets are available from £7 (adults) and £5 (under 16s) with seating and hospitality options.
Newark – Newark Family Firework Show aims to be a fun evening at The Renaissance at Kelham Hall on Sunday, November 5 from 5.30pm. Enjoy a variety of food stalls, children's fairground rides and traditional firework night treats.
Peterborough – Bonfire Extravaganza is pulling out all the stops with a firework party event for all the family – including kids’ rides , side stalls ,three licenced bars, hot food – on Saturday, November 4 at Decoy Lakes. 4pm-10pm (last entry 8pm).
Springfields, Spalding – The Springfields fireworks show in Spalding is being held tonight (Thursday) from 8pm – but tickets have all sold out. Proceeds from the event will go to the Johnson Hospital.
