24-hour gym Snap Fitness Spalding to open in Pinchbeck on December 20

A new 24-hour gym will open its doors to the public next week.

Snap Fitness Spalding has taken up residence at Wardentree Lane in Pinchbeck, and is situated next door to Starbucks at the industrial estate.

The gym, which has branches elsewhere in the country, will offer a range of classes when it opens on Monday (December 20).

Manager Ruby Parvez and assistant manager Rob Harriss have gathered their team of staff and are looking forward to the new project.

"I'm super excited. It's been a really long process getting the gym from essentially a building site to where it is now," Ruby says.

"I came on board in November, and since then it has been an absolute whirlwind - but I am so excited to open our doors on Monday and invite our members in.

"It's really nice for me to be joining Snap and doing this from the very start. This feels like my baby now.

"I'm looking forward to seeing how we can grow our membership base."

The gym has been kitted out with modern and state-of-the-art equipment, including treadmills installed with the likes of Netflix, Spotify, MyFitnessPal and wireless phone charging points.

Fitness-lovers can also connect their smart watches to the running machines, and creating an account means your preferences will be saved for each time you visit.

Throughout the workout facilities, weight machines come equipped with metres which record the number of reps you perform and the tempo you complete them at.

Members will be presented with cards which will help them to gain access to the gym. These will allow one person at a time to enter the two front doors, preventing anyone from trying to sneak in for free.
