Hopes that Moulton Chapel Flower Parade will be held in 2022

A popular flower parade is due to return next year.

Moulton Chapel Flower Parade committee held its first meeting since early 2020 on Monday last week.

They discussed a variety of plans, including those regarding a potential parade next year. They hope to hold that parade in May 1, 2022.

At the moment, they are busy contacting previous participants to help them get up and running again.

They are also hoping to include some new people and floats when the time for their big return arrives.

The parade has issued an invite for anyone with some spare time to come along and give them a helping hand.

They require some assistance with the likes of the parade itself, as well as with generating ideas.

People can enter floats themselves, bring along a vintage vehicle or simply offer their help on the day.

Those interested don’t have to necessarily join the committee - they can just get in touch with current members.

To do so, you can attend the group’s AGM, which will be at 7pm on November 22 at Moulton Chapel village hall.
