Sutton Bridge Parish Council by-election due - with four nominees to fill two vacancies
Four candidates have been nominated to compete for two council vacancies at a by-election this week.
The election this Thursday (February 22), in Sutton Bridge, follow the resignations of two councillors last year due to personal circumstances.
Polls can be cast between 7am and 10pm on the day.
The following nominees have been proposed and seconded to run for the roles at Sutton Bridge Parish Council.
*Diane Margaret Cook from Sutton Bridge has been proposed by John Preston and seconded by Maria Preston.
*Polly Perkins from Sutton Bridge, proposed by J Leighton and seconded by Debra Leighton.
*Michelle Marie Pitt also from Sutton Bridge was proposed by Christopher Brewis and seconded by Michael Booth.
*Colin John Robinson whose address is listed as in Fenland was proposed by Susan McLaughlin and seconded by Christopher Brandon King.

As well as these vacancies, the council has faced up to the sad news of the death of chairman David Bruch and David Garner.
One of the community issues is to replace the sports pavilion which will cost up to £714k which councillors and groups are hoping to gain funding for.
