Highways are not capable

I’m finding it hard to believe that Lincolnshire Highways are being allowed to build another road, The Spalding Western Relief Road, after the mess they made of the last one. I’m talking about the dreaded A16.

Does no one in the Government’s road and transport departments realise they are not capable? Look at The A16 & Radar Corner (B1166).

They are saying there’s no more money to carry out any work on the road and corner to make it safer for road users.

Then you read they can magic up millions to build this new road.

Another mess.

I feel sorry for the residents who could lose there properties.

I do hope Sir John Hayes supports them fully and does not leave them in the lurch when the going gets tough.
