Bratz Lounge in Spalding set to serve prosecco and hand out goodie bags for customers at launch over the weekend

A mother and daughter duo, who say they want to bring some fun into the town, are looking forward to the launch of their new beauty business.

The Bratz Lounge beauty salon officially opens for customers on Saturday (February 24) between 10am and 3pm and then on Sunday (February 25) from 10am and 1pm.

Charlotte Kyprianou, who is the business owner of Bratz Lounge and Olivia Faith Aesthetics in Spalding, said: “We are very excited and have put a lot of effort into it. We wanted to have something that was a bit different and fun and we hope the business will offer some more creative nail and hair designs.”

The quirky salon, which will be open every day of the week, is set to provide various beauty, hair and nail treatments for new and old customers.

Charlotte added: “We are hoping to offer a ‘vibey’ space that has a happy feel. Our open day is a chance for people to come in and get to know us, book any consultations and just find out a bit more about what we do.

“We have noticed younger girls are becoming more experimental with their nail choices by adding gems and other bits like that, so we wanted a space where that could happen.”

Bratz Lounge will be serving customers glasses of prosecco on the open day, along with goodie bags filled with items such as vouchers, different samples, sweets and more.

Charlotte’s daughter, Olivia Lauberts, will be working in the nail area of the salon to create bespoke and creative designs for customers, she said: “It’s really exciting. I like to do different designs which are often a bit out there, and I will now be able to do all of those here, which is nice.”

The business worked with street artist Honr (Karl Barfoot) - who spray painted the eye-catching Bratz Lounge logo on the wall – and Olivia also helped to design the area by hand painting cow print and pink love hearts.
