Members of Spalding Gateway Club, run by the Mencap Society, raise cash for charity with fun-filled party




A fun-filled Easter party helped raise more than £700 for a charity in our area.

Members of the Gateway Club run by the Mencap Society in Spalding, enjoyed a day full of good food, music, dancing, games and special gifts, as they celebrated Easter in style.

Visitors of the seasonal themed day raised a whopping £750 for the Holbeach charity, Chosen – which will be donated towards future events and games.

The Gateway Club meets every Friday at Broad Street Methodist Church in Spalding between 7pm to 9pm and it is open to all adults with learning disabilities.
