A gallery of pictures from the 2023 Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian Education Awards

The education stars of south Lincolnshire shone on the stage at Springfields Event Centre in Spalding last night in a glittering awards ceremony.

The 2023 Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian Education Awards brought double joy for Bourne Academy – which won the Secondary School of the Year title and saw Gemma Sanderson scoop the Inspirational Secondary School Teacher of the Year award.

Its sister school, Spalding Academy, also toasted a double success – with awards for Secondary School Student of the Year Kiya Clark and an Environmental Champion trophy for the Eco-Council and Prom initiatives.
