Liz Lenton the chair director was introduced to the group by Sally in the beginning and hasn't left since.

Due to a lack of choir groups known in the area at the time, Liz and Sally chose to make the community choir group.

They wanted to make something open access and create somewhere people could meet others from different schools.

For around six years Choir Vibe have been partnered with Lincolnshire Music Service and have performed at many venues.

Some of these include, Oxford Castle,The Royal Albert Hall with LMS and MFY, Birmingham Conservatoire and many more.

The group recently performed at in the MFY Regional Festivals, the mentor there said: "You make the most beautiful sound: gentle, pure, clean - just lovely.Your sense of ensemble is excellent, your harmonies are exquisite, well blended, each line shining through....you sing with conviction and your intonation is excellent."

The choir have sung in seven languages from 12 different countries and covered a wide range of music genres, including jazz, pop musicals, pop and classical.

Liz has been a professional singer for 14 years and therefore carries lots of knowledge and experience. She previously ran a choir in London and was also included in the 'Sing Up' project.

She said:" It is my favourite thing I do in my whole job, they're just such a lovely young group of people throughout."

Liz explained how everyone in the group is close and supportive of one another, she added: "There has always been a special vibe and atmosphere that I cant explain, it's something magical."

Being part of a choir is reported to have some great benefits, both mentally and physically. Some of these include relieving stress and increasing your heart rate.
