Spalding care home residents have ghoulishly good time at Halloween party
A Halloween party at a South Holland care home was a spooky success.
Staff and residents at St John's Care Home had a magical time watching monster relay races, fancy dress competitions and a fiendishly good feast.
One of the activity co-ordinators at the Hawthorn Bank home Ida Brickles said: "They had thoroughly enjoyed it and a great time socialising.

"Music is really helpful for people with dementia and it is nice to bring people together."
Staff entertained residents by taking part in a relay race which involved them stamping on balloons while wearing monster slippers.
This contest, which had residents cheering, was won by Deputy Manager Natalie Parnham's team.
Pensioners also enjoyed singing along with tucking into scary food.
Family members also went along to the event wearing fancy dress costumes and there was also a competition.
