Global accolade For Cowbit’s pink-haired powerhouse

Cowbit’s very own pink-haired powerhouse has won a global accolade, being listed among some of the biggest names in marketing across the world.

The award-winning coach, TEDx speaker and best-selling author was chosen by Content Hacker as one of the 50 Best Women In Marketing To Follow in 2020 and Beyond.

Taz, known as the pink-haired powerhouse for her bold, no excuses approach, was named alongside marketing giants from across the globe, including America and Australia.

The list of big hitters was put together by Content Hacker, a web-based platform aiming to radically change the digital marketing landscape across the world.

Its Top 50 listing says: “Taz is inspirational because like many of us, her life didn’t start off easy.”

Content Hacker adds: “There are many amazing women in marketing who are impacting the industry for the better with their talents.

Taz’s inclusion in this global marketing list comes hot on the heels of her successful #TazTalks chat show series on mental health, featuring a variety of celebrities.

So far, Taz has been in conversation with super model Caprice, TV presenter and environmentalist Chris Packham, reality star Tanya Bardsley, Paralympian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and Holby City stars Catherine Russell and Chizzy Akadolo plus cage fighter and reality celeb Alex Reid.

Soundbites from some of the interviews have been used on BBC Radio, with these famous faces talking honestly and openly about their own mental health battles.

Topics covered include depression, anxiety, trolling, autism awareness and panic attacks.

Taz says: “I’m always surprised when people connect me to marketing, given the majority of my work today is coaching – but, given that so much of my time is spent mentoring business owners to build their visibility, personal brand and audience, I guess it makes sense.

"I don't run a marketing agency, but I do coach local businesses, in South Holland and beyond, to show up powerfully and make a really positive impact.

She adds: “I was delighted to be named alongside 50 of the best-known influencers and opinion leaders in marketing across the globe. It’s a tremendous accolade and, particularly as my work focuses on supporting and encouraging small businesses to thrive. It’s awesome to be recognised.

“As for #TazTalks, we’ll be back later this year with more celebs talking about their own battles with mental health issues and offering advice to others struggling in this challenging world right now. I can’t wait to share these chats with everybody. Mental health is such an important topic and it’s good to talk so anything I can do to help others is fantastic.”

Over the years, Taz has spoken openly about her own battles with depression and in 2015 filmed an off-the-cuff video which went viral, attracting more than 40,000 global views, and was featured in Huffington Post. You can watch it here youtu.be/nk2h2baAgJM

She has spoken on stages across the world, on topics ranging from authentic marketing, storytelling and personal brand to confidence, mental health and goal setting.
