Gold awards have been given to two youngsters for high achievement in 1st Pinchbeck Rainbows and Brownies
Two youngsters who have shown effort and determination have received gold awards for their achievements and will continue their journey into girl guiding.
1st Pinchbeck Brownies and Rainbows have awarded Amber Coleman (7) and Laycie-Ann Creek (10) with the highest award achievable and both are the first to get them in their units.
District commissioner Carole Baker presented Amber with her gold Rainbow award who will go on to join the Brownies.
Amber had completed every interest badge in the book and leader Rachel Paul described her as a ‘Rainbow Superstar.’
Brownie leader Amy Coleman awarded Laycie-Ann describing it as an ‘honour and privilege’ wishing her luck as she proudly joins the guides.

Brownie leader Amy Coleman, who is Amber’s mum said: “Well done.
“You are two very exceptional girls who will go on to achieve so much success within girl guiding.”

It encourages them to make a positive difference in their community and navigate between school, social media, friendships and relationships.
A new programme was launched in 2018 for all members from Rainbows to Rangers introducing more than 800 badges and activities including Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
