GP practices to start COVID vaccinations next Saturday

A delivery of COVID vaccines will arrive in south Lincolnshire on Friday for administration by south Lincolnshire GP practices.

The news comes the day after we revealed a vaccination centre will be set up at Springfields Events Centre in Spalding next week.

Patients who are deemed as high priority for the roll out of the vaccine will be contacted by their GP practice within the next few days, with vaccination of the most vulnerable patients starting from Saturday, January 16.

Please do not call or contact your GP practice in the meantime. The practice will contact you to book an appropriate appointment.

There are limited supplies of the vaccine at the present time, and roll out is going to take a considerable length of time, with patients to be contacted as per their priority grouping.
