Festive events in Spalding, Holbeach, Crowland and more

District events

* Lake Ross caravan park in West Pinchbeck are having a Adele tribute new years eve party.

It will take place December 31 and starts at 8.30pm.

Tickets are £15 and children under 16 get in for free.

Enjoy a night including an Adele tribute and buffet.

* On Christmas Eve there will be a family crib service at All Saints Church in Moulton from 4pm.

All Saints Church in Moulton will have a family communion on Christmas Day from 10am.

* Join the Jolly Farmer in Moulton Chapel on Friday, December 23 for Christmas karaoke and a disco party.

The event will start at 7.30pm to 12pm.

* There will be New Years party at Surfleet Village Hall on December 31.

Don’t miss out on a great celebration taking you into the new year.

Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for ages 11 - 17 and under 11’s can attend for free.

It will run from 7pm to 1am.

Holbeach Events

*Chameli Charity Event in Holbeach Community Centre on Sunday, January 8 from 12pm to 4pm. The four course charity lunch will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Trust.

It will be an all you can eat buffet style for £20 per person.

The event is in loving memory of their late father, Mr Rafique Miah.

* Holbeach St Marks are holding a Christmas carol service on Saturday, December 24.

The service will start at 3pm and everyone is welcome.

* The Crown Hotel has a New Year countdown party on Saturday, December 31.

Doors for the event will open at 7pm.

There are free drinks available on arrival and a glass of bubbly for toasting in the new year.

You can get your tickets from the bar for £10.

* There is a Christmas Sing-A -long on Friday, December 23.

It is taking place at Caffe Aurora located in Holbeach.

Jeff Woods will be hosting the singing and enjoy the festive fayre also taking place at Caffe Aurora.

The event will take place from 11.30am.

Spalding events

* St Johns Church will have a warm space open every Thursday from 12pm to 5.30pm.

Visitors can have a hot drink, food and hot meal.

They would be grateful for any donations if possible.

* Broad Street Methodist Church have a family Christmas celebration on December 24 at 3pm.

* Broad Street Methodist Church have a warm space every Monday from 10am until 4pm.

They also have a warm rail filled with clothing suitable for the cold weather that is free.

* On Christmas Day Broad Street Methodist Church will be having a Christmas Day celebration at 10am.

* On Friday, December 22 St Mary and St Nicolas have a Quiet Christmas at 3pm.

* St Mary and St Nicolas will hold a almost Christmas ‘ Light in the darkness’ at 4pm on Saturday, December 24.

* St Mary and St Nicolas also have a midnight mass at 11.30pm on Christmas eve.

* On Christmas Day St Mary and St Nicolas will be holding a holy communion at 8am and family communion at 10.30pm.

* Tonic Health presents a Gala Evening on Saturday, February 4.

It is a black tie event from 7pm to 11.30pm.

Enjoy a three course dinner, a DJ playing sounds of the decades, live music and a licensed bar.

Tickets for this event are £39.95 and bookings are taken as tables of 10.

It will be taking place at the South Holland Centre.

* Sortified will be hosting a free crafting session in Spalding in January.

They have a range of crafty courses which have been designed as a way of using arts and crafts to help with numbers.

It is open to anyone aged over 19 who doesn’t have a formal maths qualification.

Tea and biscuits will be available.

It is set to begin at 7pm and will run through to 2am.

Crowland events

* Crowland Abbey will be hosting a crib service on Saturday, December 24 at 4pm.

* A midnight mass will be taking place Saturday, December 24 at Crowland Abbey, it will be happening at 11.30pm.

* Trinity Bridge is bringing carols under the bridge on Saturday, December 24 at 5.30pm.

* Crowland Methodist Church will be hosting a Christmas Day service on Sunday, December 25 from 9.30am.

Further afield events

* In Peterborough Guz Khan will be performing live in January 2023.

The creator and star of BBC’s ‘Man Like Mobeen’, Guz has also featured on many more well known tv shows such as, Taskmaster, The Last Leg, Live at the Apollo and many more.

Guz will be kick-starting his tour in Manchester on January 15 before heading to Peterborough, Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Liverpool, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Bradford and will finish in his home town in Coventry on February 4.

* In Kings Lynn The Black Bear are hosting a New Year celebration on Saturday, December 31 at 8pm.

Tickets are £10 and the event includes a buffet, disco and prosecco at midnight.
