New roof for Holbeach Guide and Scout Hut

Guides and Scouts in Holbeach have a new roof over their heads thanks to local roofing contractors Kev Forman.

The Holbeach Guide and Scout Hut Committee raised the money for the roof and the work was carried out by Kev's son Lewis.

The committee thanked Couns Tracey Carter and Francis Biggadike who donated money from their budgets, the Chosen charity shop which also made a donation, Holbeach Tesco for organising a pirate fundraising day and parents, leaders and children who use the hut for all their help with fundraising.

There are currently Beaver, Cub, Scout, Rainbow and Guide gtroups at the hut with a new Brownie unit starting soon.
