Runners from Snap Fitness Spalding took part in London Landmarks Half Marathon




A quartet from a Spalding gym have raised more than £2,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society by completing the London Landmarks Half Marathon.

Sarah Myland and Roseanna Mackay, Assistant Manager and Personal Trainer at Snap Fitness along with members Ed Myland and Samantha Johnson, took to the streets of London to complete the 13.1 mile course on Sunday.

This runners wanted to support the charity after the condition has affected close family members.

“We’re all incredibly proud to have completed the event and raise a great amount of money for such a worthy cause,” said Sarah. “We’ve all been training on the road and in the gym since the New Year and it was great to see all that hard work pay off.

“Thank you so much to everyone that’s donated, your generosity kept our motivation and spirits high throughout the half marathon and got us all through some challenging moments!”
