South Lincolnshire's Jerry Green Dog Rescue is appealing for a home for Harley
Jerry Green Dog Rescue, in our regular Man's Best Friend, is appealing for a home for Harley
Our lovely little Harley has been with us for a little while now, and we’re not sure why! He’s the loveliest little man.
He is sweet little chap looking for a quiet home that has a nice spot on the sofa with a secure garden.
Harley would really like to live in a female only household as he can be timid around men and he is looking to be the only pet in the home!
He wouldn’t mind living with children that are aged 14+ as long as they are calm and kind.
If you would like any more information about Harley, please give the team at South Lincolnshire a call on 01205260546.

Rules of walking in the country
We are lucky that our South Lincolnshire rescue centre in Algarkirk is surrounded by beautiful countryside and our rescue dogs benefit hugely from walks in these engaging environments.
And it’s the perfect time of year to explore the countryside with your dog.
However, it’s important to be prepared for all the other animals you may meet on these adventures with your pet.
Any dog is capable of causing distress or injury to livestock you might meet, even if they are well trained and has excellent recall.
So as a responsible dog owner your dog should be kept on a lead.
Due to their predatory instincts, loose dogs may chase or attack livestock such as sheep.
This is a criminal offence called livestock worrying.
Depending on the season, out-of-control dogs could also cause mothers to get separated from their young or expectant mothers to miscarry. Please be safe and responsible while taking rural walks!
