South Holland residents invited to have say on council budget
Rate payers and businesses will be able to have their say on South Holland District Council's budget proposals
Cabinet members will be proposing an increase in council tax, which equates to £4.95 a year increase in Council tax for Band D properties for 2020/21, to the full council meeting in February.
If the plans are adopted, investments will be made in the Pride initiative of two dedicated street cleansing teams, a continued programme of development and acquisition of new homes in the district, building more commercial units to help smaller businesses establish themselves and grow and building on the new Market Town Initiative for Holbeach and Spalding.

The council will also investment in the waste collection service to maintain weekly collections.
The draft budget is now available on the council's website for people to read and comment on.
Local residents and business-owners have until January 29 to submit their comments. These will then be taken into consideration before the draft budget is discussed at full council in February.
