Historian Dan Snow visits the Crowland Buffalo
Historian Dan Snow visited Crowland yesterday to find out more about the project to unearth a Buffalo.
The amphibious vehicle had sunk into the ground while helping the town fight the floods of 1947 - and stayed there until the end of April when it was successfully dug free.
Dan (42), has presented a host of documentaries for BBC and Channel Five and now runs History Hit - a popular podcast and subscription streaming service.
The historian visited the Buffalo, which is in the process of being restored by volunteers, with a crew to record footage of both the vehicle and the team working on it.
It's hoped that enough money can be raised to fund a museum to house the Buffalo and other artefacts that highlight Crowland's history.
