Historic finds and the Fens under the microscope at Elloe Stone history meeting

A presentation of detectorism will take place at the next meeting of the Elloe Stone Villages Heritage Group.

Digging History will be the title of the talk given by local detectorist David Phillips, who will also be displaying a unique collection of artefacts and coins discovered whilst on his travels.

There will also be an hour-long video entitled The Story of the Fens, which will give a fascinating journey through time exploring the creation of the area’s landscape.

The meeting will be held on Saturday, November 16, at Whaplode Village Hall between 2pm and 8pm.
