Appeal for witnesses after second burglary at Sutton St James home
Detectives investigating a second burglary at a property in Jarvis Gate, Sutton St James, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A burglary was carried out at a property some time between January 7 and January 20. Hickory golf clubs, fishing rods, old prints and pictures, and a box of old OS maps were taken during the burglary.
This is the second burglary at the property, the first being carried out between November 23 and December 14.
Items taken during November 23 and December 14 include an 18 inch glass fronted presentation box of arrow heads and various fossils, a set of General Post Office weights, a 3ft x 2ft framed picture of a spitfire, two full size swords in a scabbard, and coins and stamps in a Stanley Gibbons collectors' portfolio.
Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or has any information that will assist the investigation can contact police in one of the following ways:
