Ignore Holbeach road closure and get a ticket

Police say they will ticket motorists caught flouting a road closure in Holbeach.

Penny Hill, between the A17 and Tolls Lane, is currently closed while Anglian Water complete road repairs.

The road and footpath has been closed since Sunday following a damaged sewer, which has been repaired.

South Holland Facebook's page states: "This is the footpath and verge beside the road closure on Penny Hill Road, Holbeach. Please be aware that it is an offence to drive on this area.

"If you are caught you will receive a ticket. Please use the signed diversions."
