Broken glass and nails on Holbeach road sparks investigation
Police and council officers are working together to tackle anti-social behaviour in a Holbeach road.
Officers were called to Cecil Pywell Avenue after receiving reports of broken glass and nails on the road on Thursday last week.
A spokesman for South Holland District Council is urging people with information on the incidents of anti-social behaviour to come forward and contact them.
He said: "We had received reports of broken glass and nails in the area, along with other items.
"We led an exercise with the police where we contacted all residents of Cecil Pywell Avenue to help build a picture of the incidents that had occurred.
"The purpose of the visits were to ensure that residents knew that we are taking the incidents seriously, to provide support and to help gather evidence for enforcement against any perpetrators."
Anyone with information on the anti-social behaviour incidents are asked to contact the district council on 01775 761161 or police via the 101.
Alternatively problems can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
