Jack McLean and Alex Vincent launch trading investment opportunity 'for local people'

An ethically-based investment trading scheme has been created by two Spalding businessmen.

DBFX Signals is the brainchild of Jack McLean and Alex Vincent who are offering a Forex trading opportunity, which involves taking advantage of changing global currency rates, with one added extra - a percentage of the profit will be paid to a local charity or cause.

"We had talked about it for months," said Jack, who met Alex through his existing website and design business, Drive By Websites, based in Pinchbeck. "There wasn't anyone doing this locally and since we have offered it, it has gone a bit bonkers! We offered some incentives which have worked really well for us."

Jack and Alex (both 24) aim to follow the wishes of their investors with regard to the charity or cause they donate to - with homeless and mental health charities the frontrunners so far. However, the eventual hope is to form a trust, when the business has grown sufficiently.

The first DBFX Signals account was opened yesterday and will be reviewed so all investors are happy - and they are entitled to withdraw their funds at any point.

"People can do what they want with their own money," said Jack. "We have put together a proposal for local people which is as easy to understand as we could legally make it. We are happy to help people with the paperwork - we see that as all part of the service.

"All of the people have been really positive - it has opened an opportunity. We don't want people to over-invest - we know that there are risks involved, there are no guarantees.

"We are not trying to get people to invest huge piles of money, it is a very safe, very small strategy, which we hope will grow over time."
