‘Irresistible’ line-up at Spalding Flower Parade Music Weekend
With only one day until a popular parade returns to town, don’t miss the ‘irresistible’ line-up of goodies up for grabs this weekend.
You might have seen our coverage of the upcoming Spalding Flower Parade on our website, feature magazine and paper titles – but did you know there is more than just floats to enjoy this weekend?
The fun will start tonight (May 9) from 4pm, with a new addition for this year’s popular event at Springfields Events and Conference Centre.
Spalding Flower Parade Music Weekend will see tribute acts ‘ABBA Orbit Show’, ‘BADNESS’ and ‘It’s Not Taylor’ deliver iconic and unforgettable performances – which are bound to get the crowd dancing along.
There will also be a range of food and drink vendors at the venue tonight and tomorrow (Saturday), so whether you want to satisfy your sweet tooth or try a new cuisine, make sure to come hungry and enjoy the feast.

Visitors can indulge in all of those delights whilst enjoying live music from 7pm.
Sing your heart out to well-known songs as ‘ABBA Orbit Show’ take to the stage and perform ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!’, ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Take A Chance on Me’ and more.
Don’t forget to save some of your best dance moves for ‘BADNESS’ from 9pm.
The SKA revival show will play classic Madness, Bad Manners,The Specials and lots more – including some of their own songs.
Calling all ‘Swifties’! Experience the magic of Taylor Swift on Saturday (May 10) with Vikki Earle’s tribute act ‘It’s Not Taylor’.
The family-friendly performance promises to be a exhilarating watch which captures the iconic style, voice and electrifying presence of the popular American pop star.
Expect a stage show filled with energy and sass from 3pm.
Spalding Flower Parade Music Weekend will also see a range of craft stalls, a licensed bar and funfair.
It will be open between 4pm and 11pm today and 9.30am to 5pm tomorrow.
The event is free to attend but donations are welcome.
