Teenage Cancer Trust the winner at Moore Thompson quiz night

Staff and partners at accountancy firm Moore Thompson have donated more than £1,600 to the Teenage Cancer Trust from its annual charity quiz held at the South Holland Centre.

Business leaders and professionals from across the East of England gathered in Spalding to pitch their wits against one another.

The event, which has been held for several years, also included a raffle and was won by NatWest team from The Fens.

However, the biggest winner was the Teenage Cancer Trust, which helps hundreds of young people every year.

Craig Reid, a partner at Moore Thompson and head of MT Charity Fundraisers, Moore Thompson’s in-house fundraising team, said: “We were delighted to raise so much for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the fantastic work they do.

“We had a wonderful evening and the turnout was brilliant, so we would like to thank all of those who took part or donated prizes.”

The firm’s in-house charitable organisation, The MT Charity Fundraisers, which hosted the quiz, has raised more than £12,750 for causes across the region in the last four years.
