Thea Coffee Shop owners hold grand opening in Long Sutton
Owners of a new high street café have celebrated their grand opening.
Sisters Vasiliki and Aimiliana Nastou cut the red ribbon to formally open Thea Coffee House on the High Street in Long Sutton.
Supporters turned out to sample sweet treats at the eatery, which offers Greek cuisine, and was an opportunity for staff and customers to mark the cafe’s opening.
Vasiliki Nastou, 40, who lives in Spalding, said: “The grand opening was so lovely.
“We are settling in very smoothly and it feels like we already know all of our customers.
“There is a sense of familiarly and connection as if we’ve been part of the community for much longer.”
Since it opened in early September the family-run café has proved popular with a menu that includes chicken gyros, lamb skewers and sandwiches.
First time business owner Vasiliki moved from North London after finding the High Street premises to rent and hopes her venture will create job opportunities in the town.
The sisters are preparing for Christmas with a menu available that includes traditional turkey and meatloaf.
